Mr Kulkarni is an NHS consultant ophthalmic surgeon at King’s College Hospital in London, where he is the lead glaucoma consultant for a tertiary glaucoma service which serves Southeast London and beyond


He provides care for a wide range of general ophthalmic conditions including undertaking cataract surgery. He also offers a comprehensive glaucoma service, including glaucoma screening, glaucoma monitoring, glaucoma Laser treatments, and advanced, cutting edge glaucoma surgery.


After training in ophthalmology in London, Mr. Kulkarni subspecialized in the management of glaucoma and complex, glaucoma-related cataract surgery during clinical glaucoma fellowships at King’s College & St. Thomas’s Hospitals, and the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital.


He was subsequently appointed to develop and run the glaucoma service at King’s College Hospital, a prestigious London university teaching hospital, which is one of the founder member institutions of King’s Health Partners, a pioneering UK Academic Health Science Centre.
